Olive Oil

Mediterranean Herb Olive Oil Dip

A fresh, aromatic dip that lets the natural flavor of good olive oil take center stage.
Perfect with warm bread, toasted pita, or grilled vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely minced
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • A pinch of chili flakes
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Method

  1. Pour the olive oil into a shallow serving bowl.
  2. Add the garlic, oregano, thyme, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice.
  4. Leave for 5–10 minutes so the herbs and garlic can infuse the oil.
  5. Serve with warm bread, pita, or grilled vegetables.

Serving idea: Add chopped olives or a little crumbled feta for an extra Mediterranean touch.

Honey

Honey Cinnamon Yogurt Bowl

A naturally sweet breakfast or light dessert combining creamy yogurt,
fruit, nuts, and pure honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1–2 tbsp pure clover honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp oats or granola
  • 1 banana or apple, sliced
  • A small handful of walnuts or almonds

Method

  1. Spoon the Greek yogurt into a serving bowl.
  2. Arrange the sliced fruit over the yogurt.
  3. Add the oats or granola and nuts.
  4. Drizzle generously with honey.
  5. Finish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon.

Serving idea: Chill for 10 minutes before serving for a thicker, dessert-style texture.

Molasses

Molasses Oat Energy Bites

A rich and wholesome way to enjoy sugar cane molasses beyond the classic
molasses-and-tahini combination.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp sugar cane molasses
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 2 tbsp crushed nuts
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • A small pinch of salt

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes evenly combined and slightly sticky.
  3. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
  5. Chill for at least another 30 minutes before serving.

Serving idea: Keep refrigerated and enjoy as a quick breakfast bite or afternoon snack.

Frozen Strawberries

Frozen Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Creamy, naturally fruity, and refreshing — made with frozen strawberries
straight from the freezer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey, optional

Method

  1. Add the frozen strawberries, banana, milk, and yogurt to a blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and add honey if extra sweetness is desired.
  4. Add a little more milk if you prefer a lighter consistency.
  5. Serve immediately while cold and thick.

Try another version: Replace the banana with mango, peach, or pineapple for a different fruit combination.

Fresh Grape & Walnut Yogurt Cups

A light and naturally sweet grape recipe that works beautifully as breakfast,
a snack, or a simple dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp oats or granola
  • A pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. Divide the Greek yogurt between two serving cups.
  2. Add the halved grapes.
  3. Sprinkle with the chopped walnuts and oats or granola.
